Life

In Israel today, about 111,000 Holocaust survivors and victims of antisemitic persecution are still living among us. Some receive a fixed monthly benefit, depending on their health and financial situation.
But one group has been left behind: about 40,000 Holocaust survivors who immigrated to Israel after October 1953.
Because of when they arrived, they are not recognized under Israel's main law for victims of Nazi persecution and are not eligible for a fixed monthly benefit.
Instead, they receive only an annual grant of ₪7,688, which equals about ₪641 per month.
Even when additional benefits exist, such as old-age benefits or rental assistance, for many of them it is still not enough to cover basic needs like food, electricity, medication, rent, and help at home.
These are the people who have fallen through the cracks.
Your donation helps us reach them with hot meals, daily support, and a simple reminder that they are not forgotten.

How Your Donation Helps
Your donation allows us to deliver a hot, freshly cooked, nourishing meal directly to the homes of Holocaust survivors and elderly people in need.
For them, it is not just a meal.
It is daily care, a sense of security, and one simple reminder:
They have not been forgotten.

Hot Meals
For Holocaust Survivors
In Israel, Lechiyot BeTov operates with all required approvals and full transparency, ensuring that every donation is used solely for its intended purpose and ultimately becomes nutritious, hot food for those who truly need it.
For U.S. donors, contributions are made through Give Click 4 Love, a registered U.S. nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3), allowing this vital work to continue with the same values of accountability, transparency, and impact.
